How To Make 220V To 12V 60A Battery Charger | DIY 12V Universal Battery Charger
In this video, we are going to show you making a fast 12v battery charger circuit. There are many kind of battery charger circuit, full wave battery charger circuit is one of them. To make this circuit, you don’t need enough electronics components. You can make this circuit at home easily.
Component list have to be given below.
Component List:
1. Transformer – 12.0.12Volt
2. Capacitor – 2200uf/25v
3. Diode – 1N5399 (2 Pieces)
4. Resistor – 1 K
5. LED – 5mm
6.Battery – 12v
7. Soldering Iron
8. Power Source - AC 220v
In this video you will see a very simple way how to charge a 12 volts car or a motorcycle battery with 19 volts laptop power adapter (laptop charger)
Difference between 19 and 12 voltages drops on a light bulb, I've used a 12 volts 21 watt light bulb.
If you need higher current use two 21W bulbs in pararel, or you can use just one 55W light bulb.
Important: Charging will NOT stop automatically even if the battery becomes fully charged, so you need to disconnect the charger manually when a battery reaches 14.2 volts, or when cells of the battery starts to release hydrogen.
