How to make 5 volt power supply using LM7805 with TIP3055, Can 5 Volt 5 Ampere. (12v to 5v converter using lm7805)


This circuit can provide 30V, and 5A DC as maximum INPUT. Output voltage is 5V. This is a very good circuit and you can apply a mobile phone battery charger. But use a large heat sink. good luck to you.diy 5v.


Components used in this project:


1. TIP3055 Transistor

2.LM7805

3. 1N4007 Diode

4. 10uf 50v Cap

5. 1000uf 25v Cap
