In this video, Fluidmaster Toilet Seal - Install and Review, home renovation brothers Dave and Rich and Dave's son, Caleb show you an interesting product that can make replacing a toilet much easier than it used to be in the old days when wax rings were the only option.

The problem with wax rings is that they are sticky and messy!  Plus they are brown, why did they make them that color???

In addition, once a wax ring is set in place, you can't move the toilet at all, or you will break the wax ring seal and you will then have to scrape that off, get a new wax ring and start all over.

This Fluidmaster Toilet Seal is amazing.  It works with a compression fitting.  Just scrape off the old wax using a flathead screwdriver or other tool, put the new toilet seal in place and the weight of the toilet will cause the seal!

The really cool thing is that if you don't like the position of the toilet, you can move it around as much as you want and it will reseal.
